KySGGA Honors Dr. David Van Sanford

Leadership of the Kentucky Small Grain Growers Association and Promotion Council attended the UK Wheat Field Day on May 8 to honor UK Wheat Breeder Dr. David Van Sanford for his many contributions to Kentucky's wheat industry. The KySGGA board and council approved a grant of $250,000 last year for the Grain and Forage Center of Excellence that will be used for Graduate Student Housing. The new building will be named for Van Sanford. 

Van Sanford was also honored with a University Research Professorship on May 1.
